New bought CDs ... interesting package...
Shiina Ringo - Japanese MannersBeside her short film Hyaku iro megane, this is Shiina Ringo first collaboration with film production. Songs in this album are used in Japanese film Sakuran. You can treat this album as her 'Greatest Hits'. Songs have been rearranged.
After listening to the album, i think the music is great, especially the combination of electronic music and orchestra, yet there is room for improvement in vocal... maybe she's still young (29 yrs old). i don't like her style of singing jazz...
KZK is still my favourite...

Klaxons - Myths Of The Near Futureactually i 've listened on NME Media Player... but a Hong Kong-based music columnist, 袁智聰, claims that they and early Mansun are alike... the point push me to buy their album.
to be honest, 36 minutes is quite short... and their best songs have been chosen as single...
other may said i am not open-minded ... but go to youtube and search for live of both bands... and you will see the difference...
Let's talk about their package...
First Shiina's one is in Digipak. A four-folded design. After unfolded, the title appear.
With the first limited edition, there are three pieces of stickers, a cup pad, a sheet of production note, and lyric booklet.
I like the wild cat ... MEW... interestingly, that cat is not Shiina's, it is rent from INNER CITY ZOO NOAH. In their homepage, they provide animal rental from production like video and CD.
For Klaxons' album, the CD uses so-called SUPER JEWEL BOX. In the press release of homepage, Universal Music Group uses their product to package UMG's CD. Of course include Klaxons, they had sign to Polydor.
It needs to press to open... anyway i haven't buy this kind of package before (rounded- corners). Also the collage is messing...
