Man from London

I have a brand new viewing experience last night. Not delighted by the plot, but by every frame and sound of the movie.
Simple story: an employee stole 60,000 pounds from his boss and fled to elsewhere with a partner. on arrival, the employee killed his partner. however, he could not took those money away. another man there picked up a case on the sea. The event brought attention of local and national police , boss's partner, and that employee's wife there. Two days later, the man killed employee, and returned money back.

When the film finished, i was surprised by my patience ... the film runs quite slow. On the other hand, i was moved by the photography and sound of the film. The film was shot in black-and-white. The extreme colour contrast made the film unrealistic. One of the highlight is Tilda Swinton closing the window

Every frame is just a picture, an art piece. Also the sound constructs an intense feeling to the film.
Hope I can encounter another great viewing experience next week. i will watch Savage Grace on this Sunday ... but it seems a bloody movie ... i don't like violence ...
